Nevada Constitution

A Message from Don Ashworth
I've lived almost my entire life here in Nevada and—like you—care deeply about its future. But our great state faces enormous challenges as we move forward in the new millennium.

From my earliest memory, I was taught the importance of giving back to my community for the benefits I enjoy as a citizen, and I've always worked to do just that. I have served as a Nevada State Senator and am active in our community. I've spent over a quarter-century working as a tax attorney and estate planner, and have served as Clark County's Probate Commissioner for the past 13 years. I have taken special pride in working to simplify Nevada laws dealing with wills, probate and estate issues, and to improve my office's interaction with the public.

I am running for the Nevada Supreme Court because I believe the court has the unique responsibility to protect and defend our state's constitution. I am convinced I have the experience to handle the criminal and civil cases the Supreme Court is asked to consider, and I have the integrity to honorably serve as a Supreme Court Justice.

I greatly appreciate so many of you who encouraged me to run for office. I will work hard every day to deserve your trust. And I promise you there is no duty that I will take more seriously than upholding our Nevada Constitution.
